Greetings, ToyFare fans. My name is Justin Aclin and I’m the editor of ToyFare, so it’s my pleasure to welcome you to FarePlay, the OFFICIAL blog of ToyFare Magazine. Don’t be fooled by all those bootleg blogs out there. We’re the real deal.

We’re going to be posting pretty much daily, bringing you toy reviews, behind-the-scenes tidbits from the magazine and Twisted ToyFare Theatre, classic material from the magazine and more. This is going to be your best bet to get your favorite ToyFare-y goodness in the 29 days a month between issues. And if there’s something you’d like to see that you don’t see yet, just hop onto the ToyFare section at the Wizard Universe Message Board and let us know!

We’re just getting back from Wizard World Chicago, so we’re going to take it easy today, but tomorrow we’ll be introducing one of our new regular features: presenting some classic Big Shots. For those who don’t know, Big Shots were fan-favorite single-panel gags that ran in the price guide for much of ToyFare’s history, but have been missing for the past several years, much to our fans’ chagrin. However, if you were at our “Twisted ToyFare Theatre” panel in Chicago, you already heard the big announcement: Big Shots are back! Look for them in issue #134’s price guide in August, and every month thereafter!

And that’s exactly the kind of desperate pandering to our fans that you’ll be able to find nearly every day on the FarePlay blog. So add us to your blogroll – you shan’t regret it!
